Are you just losing water weight in the beginning?

 

I've always heard that the first 20lbs you lose is just water weight.

So you're not really accomplishing anything until after you get past the 20lbs down mark. I can't say that I've ever found this to be logical.

However based on the results of my first week of weight loss / inch loss after doing the 5BiteDiet I'd have to say I believe I lost fat, not just water weight. What do you guys think?
